The terminologies of food safety, nutrition, and food security are interconnected and form a crucial foundation. The escalating global population exacerbates the challenges pertaining to food safety and security in developing nations. While diverse technological approaches have been developed to enhance agricultural productivity and ensure Agri-food safety and security, certain limitations hinder the effectiveness of these approaches. Nanobiotechnology emerges as a promising technology with immense potential to augment Agri-food safety by remediating polluted sites, controlling pests, increasing crop yield, improving nutrient and bioactive delivery systems as well as encapsulating texture and flavor.
We welcome Original Research, Review, Mini Review and Perspective articles on themes including, but not limited to:
