Recent scientific advances have led to discoveries in the molecular pathogenesis of leukemia and to the identification of new targets for therapy. This has in turn fostered the development of novel strategies to successfully treat the most resistant of the pediatric leukemias. The goal of this Frontiers Research Topic is to provide a forum for innovative biologic and treatment studies of newly diagnosed and relapsed leukemia in children and adolescents. We encourage submission of basic, translational and clinical research studies of pathogenesis, target identification, and therapy. Scholarly reviews and commentaries are also welcomed.
Important Note:
All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
