1. How does gaming affect the well-being of gamers?
2. Do gamers acquire skills in gaming that are translatable to real life?
3. Do gamers translate skill to their real like, and if so what are the effects and real life outcomes?
We welcome researchers to contribute their theoretical, methodological, experimental and applied research findings and ideas with regard to the flourishing world of gaming. We anticipate that this cutting edge collection of papers will be interdisciplinary and inform colleagues across multiple sectors.
Aims of this Research Topic:
To explore the state of the art international evidence on the flourishing world of gaming
To develop a multidisciplinary network in this field
To create a debate with regard to the positive psychology paradigm of gaming
To provide a platform for the dissemination of this information widely and allow it to be tested with actionable theories and experimental investigations
