Contributing factors such as aging populations, urbanization, and lifestyle changes, including poor diet and lack of physical activity, have led to the rising prevalence of NCDs. As a result, an urgent need is to develop effective, sustainable, and innovative rehabilitation approaches that can enhance patient outcomes, reduce the burden on healthcare systems, and improve long-term management. Fostering these advancements will be crucial for addressing the growing demands of NCD care and enhancing the well-being of affected populations.

Rehabilitation for NCDs has traditionally focused on mitigating symptoms, improving functional capacity, and enhancing patients' ability to live independently. However, novel approaches are emerging that offer a more holistic and integrated view of care, incorporating physical health, psychological well-being, social factors, and personalized interventions aligned with the principles of Precision Medicine.
