This topic aims to address the transformation of biomass into a pivotal element of the circular economy, where it can be sustainably converted into valuable resources.

The primary goal of this Research Topic is to promote and disseminate innovative research focused on the transformation of biomass into a key component of the circular economy. This includes developing efficient and sustainable technologies for converting biomass into biofuels, chemicals, materials, and energy.
