About this Research Topic
The Oculoplastics, Orbit and Trauma section within Frontiers in Ophthalmology is delighted to present the inaugural themed collection: Reviews in Oculoplastics, Orbit and Trauma. This collection aims to showcase high-quality, authoritative, and reader-friendly review papers covering the most topical research at the forefront of oculoplastic surgery, orbital disease, and ophthalmic trauma management.
All contributing authors were individually nominated by the Editorial Board of the journal in recognition of their prominence and influence in their respective fields. The cutting-edge work presented in this article collection highlights recent advances in oculoplastics and orbital trauma while emphasizing important directions and new possibilities for future inquiries.
This collection welcomes Review and Mini Review articles across all areas of oculoplastic surgery, orbital disease, and ophthalmic trauma. Topics include, but are not limited to:
· Eye Reconstruction Following Cancer Excision
· Surgical Access to the Orbital Apex
· Diagnosis and Treatment of Orbital Vascular Anomalies
· Modern Approach to Periocular Cosmetic Surgery
· Lacrimal Anatomy as a Foundation for Surgical Success
