This Research Topic aims to explore the forefront of immunotherapy applications for brain tumors, seeking to understand mechanisms, enhance efficacy, and broaden the scope of treatment. Specifically, the research will probe the following two "how's":
--How novel immunotherapeutic strategies can overcome the localized immunosuppression typical of aggressive brain cancers
--How novel immunotherapeutic strategies can incite prolonged and potent immune responses against aggressive brain cancers
Please note that manuscripts consisting solely of bioinformatics or computational analysis of public genomic or transcriptomic databases which are not accompanied by robust and relevant validation (clinical cohort or biological validation in vitro or in vivo) are out of scope for this Research Topic.
