The Turkish Society for Andrology and Artificial Insemination and the Italian Society for Animal Reproduction have collaborated to organize a joint congress focused on advancements in animal reproduction. This congress will bring together leading scientists and researchers from around the world to present and discuss their latest findings in this critical field. Covering a wide array of topics within animal reproduction, this event serves as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and innovative ideas. The high-quality research presented at this congress will provide the foundation for a Special Issue in Frontiers in Veterinary Science, offering a comprehensive overview of the current state and future directions of animal reproduction science.
Reproduction is a multifaceted field encompassing a wide range of disciplines, from anatomy and physiology to pathology, clinical practices, and cutting-edge biotechnologies. The goal of this Special Issue is to explore the rich diversity of animal reproduction by showcasing some of the most innovative and impactful research presented at the joint congress. By making these findings accessible to a broader audience, we aim to foster greater understanding and appreciation of the complexities involved in this field. Additionally, we seek to encourage further contributions from those unable to attend the congress, inviting them to submit their most recent and significant research. Through this Special Issue, we hope to create a comprehensive and dynamic resource that reflects the latest advancements and future directions in animal reproduction.
This Special Issue will provide some of the most up-to-date, practically oriented research papers on a variety of topics dealing with small and large animal reproduction, reproductive biotechnologies. Topics of interest include research papers dealing with clinically relevant physiological and pathological mechanisms of diseases of the male and female reproductive system, innovative reproductive management of small and large animals, new gamete preservation technologies, updates on animal husbandry and welfare as well as new aspects of animal reproduction such as innovative teaching techniques in animal reproduction undergraduate and postgraduate curse, digital marketing of reproduction research, web design of reproductive enterprises/companies.
Keywords:
Companion animal reproduction, food animal reproduction, equine reproduction, biotechnologies of reproduction, herd health management
Important Note:
All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
