In order to mitigate or lessen the impact of diseases, it is imperative that future research focuses on comprehending the mechanisms and pinpointing crucial molecules that influence the development of reproductive diseases.

Despite significant advances in reproductive biology, the underlying molecular and cellular mechanisms that govern key pregnancy events are not fully understood. Problems arise in the early detection and management of pregnancy-associated disorders due to the complex nature of these processes. Current diagnostics and treatments are often reactive rather than proactive, leading to adverse outcomes. This Research Topic aims to explore and elucidate the precise molecular and cellular pathways involved in normal and pathological pregnancies. The main purpose is to gather innovative research that advances our understanding of these mechanisms, ultimately contributing to the development of early diagnostic tools, preventative strategies, and targeted therapies to improve pregnancy outcomes.
