The rapid advancement and integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into various sectors, particularly healthcare and finance, have raised critical concerns about privacy and security. As AI systems increasingly handle sensitive data, there is a growing need to address the nuanced challenges in maintaining privacy and security within these ethical AI-driven ecosystems. This topic explores the balance between leveraging AI for its immense benefits and ensuring that ethical, privacy, and security standards are not compromised.
The primary goal of this Research Topic is to dissect and understand the complex interplay between AI advancements and the ethical implications related to privacy and security. The aim is to identify effective strategies, policies, and technologies that can safeguard sensitive information while fostering the growth and application of ethical AI.
While not limited to, articles that address the applications of AI in Healthcare, Finance, and Defense are highly encouraged to submit their work. The other side of the spectrum which could be (but not limited to) poisoning attacks to AI, or information extraction from an AI system are also welcomed.
Keywords:
Privacy-preserving AI, Secure AI, Explainable AI, Trustworthy AI, Responsible AI, Ethical AI, Data security in AI, Cybersecurity in AI, AI regulation and policy, Algorithmic bias and fairness.
