About this Research Topic
Inflammation plays a crucial role in the development of various diseases, including cancer, allergic diseases, such as asthma, and cardiovascular diseases, such as atherosclerosis and heart failure. This Research Topic (RT) aims to collect articles on lipid signaling, RNA biology, modulation of immune and platelet cell functions, and the immune-related functions of bioactive molecules.
This RT aims to collect original research papers, reviews, and opinion papers related to the topic. Manuscripts that give novel mechanistic insights into inflammatory processes or report on new strategies for treating inflammatory diseases are highly encouraged.
High-quality research on drug delivery and novel delivery systems focusing on translational aspects is welcome. Manuscripts describing plant extracts and other chemically undefined compositions will not be accepted.
