About this Research Topic
This research topic aims to advance our understanding of stroke and improve the patient’s quality of life. We aim to explore the most recent breakthroughs in stroke research and translate them into tangible benefits for stroke survivors. By exploring innovative diagnostic techniques and translational strategies in neuroprotection, we aim to bridge the gap between scientific discoveries and real-world clinical applications. Through this platform, we encourage researchers and clinicians to collaborate and contribute their expertise to advance our understanding of stroke mechanisms and potential therapeutic interventions at the translational and experimental levels.
To gather further insights in the field of translational and experimental stroke research, we welcome articles addressing, but not limited to, the following themes:
• Innovations in stroke prediction and diagnosis, from early detection to advanced imaging techniques and biomarkers.
• Neuroprotective strategies to mitigate the long-term effects of stroke.
• Translational research bridging laboratory discoveries to clinical applications.
• Rehabilitation techniques and their efficacy in stroke recovery.
• The role of genetics and epigenetics in stroke susceptibility and recovery.
• The impact of lifestyle and environmental factors on stroke risk and outcomes.
