About this Research Topic
To address these issues, sustainable construction material is a promising direction, such as recycled aggregate concrete, geopolymer concrete, limestone calcined clay cement (LC3) concrete, etc. In order to promote the application of sustainable construction materials in practical engineering, it is essential to study the structural behavior and durability of structures made with sustainable construction materials. Structural design methods can be proposed based on AI technology to improve the efficiency in the utilization of sustainable construction materials.
This Research Topic aims to collect the latest studies related to structural behavior and durability of structures made with sustainable construction materials. Covered topics include, but are not limited to:
• Methods to improve the properties of sustainable construction materials
• Mechanical properties of green structures
• Durability of green structures
• Green structures under extreme loads and environments
• AI-based structural design
• Structural application
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
