About this Research Topic
This Research Topic provides a forum for the publication of high quality research in computational mathematics, with a focus on robust numerical schemes for various classes of singularly perturbed differential equations (including both ordinary and partial differential equations). Manuscripts submitted to this Research Topic should be complete and relatively self-contained original contributions, with an introduction that can be understood by the broad computational mathematics community. Both rigorous and heuristic styles are acceptable. In addition to articles on developing efficient numerical methods, this Research Topic also accepts systematic reviews, and papers on theory, new algorithms, and applications of singularly perturbed differential equations.
Keywords: singularly perturbed problems, efficient numerical schemes, robust numerical methods, time delay, spatial delay, differential-difference equations
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
