About this Research Topic
The Eighth CCF Bioinformatics Conference (CBC 2023) held in Urumqi, August 6-8, 2023. The CBC 2023 is supported by CCF Bioinformatics Committee and Xinjiang University. The conference invited renowned experts and scholars in the field of bioinformatics both domestically and internationally to give presentations, and organized group reports on the latest research progress and trends in the field of bioinformatics. The aim is to provide an academic exchange platform for the researchers to exchange the latest research advances on bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, medical data analysis and precision medicine, biomedical image analysis, and computational biology, promoting academic exchange and collaborative research in the field of bioinformatics in China.
The central goal of the Research Topic is to explore computational learning models and methods driven by omics for biology. We solicit high-quality original research papers in any aspect of bioinformatics, genomics, and biomedicine. New computational techniques and methods and their application in life science and medical domains are especially encouraged.
