Bullying is a broad term encompassing several key aspects, characterized by repeated hostile actions by an individual or group with the deliberate intent to harm the victim and an inherent power imbalance. It presents a significant societal concern, particularly within educational settings worldwide, impacting the well-being of students, particularly adolescents, with research consistently highlighting its detrimental effects on mental health. This call for research articles aims to gather successful prevention and intervention strategies specifically tailored to schools. The articles will address topics related to interventions through school-based strategies, teacher professional development, peer mentor training, or any other aspect of school involvement in tackling antisocial behaviors, bullying and cyberbullying, along with their associated consequences.

This Research Topic aims to increase awareness regarding violence, bullying, and antisocial behaviors, along with their repercussions but also to advance research that centers on evidence-based, effective prevention and intervention strategies within school environments. The research findings should encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, examining the long-term impacts of anti-bullying initiatives, with the ultimate aim of identifying sustainable strategies that contribute to anti-bullying policy development. Furthermore, we seek articles that offer practical guidance and actionable recommendations for diverse stakeholders involved in addressing bullying and violence in schools.

We invite article submissions that explore interventions across various dimensions, including school-based approaches, teacher training, parental engagement, community involvement and peer mentorship, both individually and in combination. We invite a wide range of article types, including Empirical Research Articles employing diverse research methodologies such as qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-method approaches. This encompasses both cross-sectional and longitudinal studies, action research articles, case studies, and policy analysis articles, among others. Our goal is to identify potential solutions to address antisocial, violent, and bullying behaviors within educational institutions through rigorous research and evidence-based findings.
