About this Research Topic
This Research Topic aims to delve into the structure-function relationship of enzymes through a chemical lens, focusing on the interplay between enzyme structure, dynamics, and function. We seek to explore the latest advancements in this area and identify key challenges that remain to be addressed. By elucidating the underlying principles governing enzyme activity and specificity, we can develop novel strategies for enzyme engineering, improve biocatalysis, and enhance our understanding of enzymatic processes in biological systems.
