About this Research Topic
As a powerful influential medium, the digitalized environment has generated impactful changes in decision-making processes. This Research Topic seeks to unravel how the digital environment has affected individual decision-making behaviors, in both positive and negative ways. We also delve into exploring how advanced neuroscientific techniques contribute to the underlying processing mechanisms behind individual decision-making behavior in interaction with digital society.
To contribute to our understanding of decision-making in the digital era, we call for related papers. More specifically, the scope of this Research Topic encompasses, but is not limited to, the following themes:
- Research focusing on decision-making phenomena, processes, and problems derived from individuals’ interaction with the digital environment.
- Submissions on decision neuroscience in the digital era in various perspectives, such as management, economics, psychology, behavioral science, and more.
- Research on the applications of neuroscientific techniques in decision neuroscience.
Keywords: Decision making, behavioral decision, social decision, decision neuroscience, neuroscientific techniques, digital era
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
