Current research highlights the need for a deeper understanding of the synergies between technological advancements, such as sensor-based monitoring and renewable energy integration, and the behavioral changes required to adopt sustainable water practices. While significant strides have been made in stormwater management and water scarcity mitigation through RWH, gaps persist in the comprehensive evaluation of its effectiveness, technological integration, and public acceptance.

This research topic aims to elucidate the role of RWH in urban settings, focusing on its contributions to stormwater management, water scarcity mitigation, and sustainable urban development.
