About this Research Topic
Environmental pollution issues are prevalent globally. The hazard of environmental pollution, which affects the crops and microorganisms at different trophic levels, is greater in developing and impoverished nations. The goal of this Research Topic is to explore the toxicity, mechanism, and remediation of environmental pollution in agricultural systems. These researches, which focus on how plants and microorganism deal with new kinds of environmental pollution including heavy metals, pesticides, nanomaterials, emerging pollutants, and other chemicals that exert stress and their detoxifying mechanisms, are particularly fascinating.
This Research Topic aims at exploring the toxicity, mechanism, and remediation underpinnings of any features connected to Environmental Pollution in Agricultural Systems. We welcome all types of submissions (e.g., Original Research, Reviews, Methodologies, Mini-Reviews, Perspectives, and Opinion articles), including (but not limited to) research covering:
- Environmental pollution risk assessment for plants and microorganisms in agroecosystems.
