About this Research Topic
The nutritional management of patients with chronic liver diseases, regardless of etiology, is still a challenge. There are numerous gaps to be understood in the context of body composition, biomarkers, and dietary strategies in the face of the pathophysiology of cirrhosis.
This Research Topic therefore welcomes observational studies, clinical trials, mini-review, systematic review, and meta-analyses relating to themes such as the following:
• Lifestyle and behavioral nutrition in the management of chronic liver diseases;
• Deficiencies of vitamins and minerals in liver health and disease;
