Over the past decade, our comprehension of the tumor immune microenvironment has expanded significantly, revealing the intricate mechanisms that govern treatment responses and the prognostic value of immune cell compositions in different cancer models. Recent advancements in multiplex profiling platforms have enabled researchers to capture detailed tumor architecture and spatial information, providing a deeper understanding of the role of molecular biomarkers in cancer treatment. Despite these advancements, there remains a need to further explore the dynamics of tumor, stromal, and immune cell interactions to design novel strategies targeting the tumor immune microenvironment and its communication pathways.

This research topic aims to elucidate the dynamics of interactions between tumor, stromal, and immune cells within the microenvironment.
