Therefore, the Sensory Neuroscience section is proud to shed light on great female researchers and provide them with a platform to showcase their work and role in open science. This editorial initiative of particular relevance, led by Dr. Carlotta Fossataro, Dr. Frouke Nienke Boonstra, Dr. Grace Edwards and Dr. Nadejda Bogdanova Bocheva, highlights advances in the field of sensory neuroscience to further aid our empirical and theoretical understanding of human sensation and perception.
