About this Research Topic
This Research Topic aims at shedding light on the advances in the field of HAI in patients with cardiovascular diseases, encompassing areas including detection, diagnosis, treatment and molecular regulatory mechanisms. This collection will address emerging issues in both clinical observations and basic research, intending to provide a basis for the improvement of prognosis in this special subpopulation.
We welcome submissions of Original Research, Reviews, and Case Reports focusing on, but not limited to, the following subtopics:
● The impact of various cardiovascular statuses on HAI
● Advances in the management measures of HAI in patients with cardiovascular diseases
● Mathematical tools of the predictive models for identifying patient at high risk of developing HAI
● Novel microbial diagnosis technologies that enhance the detection and diagnosis of HAI in patients with cardiovascular diseases
● Novel biomarkers for early diagnosis and assessment of HAI in patients with cardiovascular diseases
● Individualized treatment strategies to effectively manage HAI in patients with cardiovascular diseases
● Pathogenic regulatory mechanisms involved in the development and progression of HAI in this specific group
