About this Research Topic
This Research Topic aims to capture the state of the art of digital twining research, including key enabling technologies, major potential applications, regulations and policies, together with challenges in digital twining in construction. The collection stands at the intersection of multi-disciplinary areas, which will be applicable at different stages of a construction projects, ranging from the design stage to the construction stage, as well as operation and maintenance stages. The objective is to publish high quality and original research papers and state-of-the-art reviews from academia, governments, and industry, which provide significant contribution and advance scientific knowledge in the related fields.
