About this Research Topic
The objective of this Research Topic is to gather and disseminate up-to-date and relevant scientific information on the processes that affect nutrient transport at the catchment scale, and how these processes impact water quality. Specifically, we are interested in long-term studies that advance our understanding of the interactions between nutrient dynamics, rainfall patterns and hydrological processes, land use changes, and climate change. We welcome contributions that explore the use of innovative methodologies and tools, such as remote sensing, modelling, and machine learning, for assessing nutrient transport and management at different scales.
Keywords: nutrients, catchment, water quality, long-term monitoring, management
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
