About this Research Topic
In this Research Topic, we aim to share theoretical or field studies that deal with cross-sector collaboration in the process of school inclusion. In this sense, investigations that contribute to the commitment of basic schools, at a world level, to develop and promote a quality teaching and learning process and coexistence with differences are welcomed.
We will consider studies that adopt the Cultural-Historical Approach in the process of their analysis and that are based on the Socio-Historical Perspective, which is a way to produce knowledge in human and social sciences by understanding that the psyche is constituted in the social, in an interactive process through language.
We invite authors who have developed studies between the different areas of health and education, demonstrating or not the existence of cross-sector collaboration, with participants from early childhood education to higher education, or in different contexts of special schools or mainstream classrooms.
Keywords: School inclusion, teaching, learning, continuing education, human development
