About this Research Topic
The International Conference Cells & Extracellular Templates (CET)-Templates for Damaged and Lost Tissues is a successful series of conferences taking place usually every two years since the first meeting in 1990. It takes place on 7-9 June 2023 and is held in person in Rome-Italy, at University Niccolò Cusano. A Round Table and two Symposia Science, namely Symposium on CET MuSiCaP Project (Multi-doped silico-calcium Phosphates) and Symposium on SISMAC: Neurosurgery and Cranioplasty: future perspectives” This Research Topic will be a collection of selected contributions from conference participants.
The Research Topic will embrace scientific contributions focused on the main topics discussed in the context of the International Conference Cells & Extracellular Templates (CET 2023), such as the biomaterials-cells interactions, biomaterials for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, tumor models, drug delivery systems, wound healing, application of additive manufacturing technologies in the biomedical sector, bioprinting, neurosurgery, cranioplasty, and other pivotal biomedical applications. The main purpose of this collection is to provide updated state-of-the-art and future perspectives on the proposed topics.
