About this Research Topic
Until recently, most tropical disease research has focused mainly on single omics analysis and fails to account for the omics profiles. With the rise of large scale, high throughput multi-omics experiments, there is the need to harness multi-omics data and techniques to understand and provide more insights into tropical diseases.
The following themes are of particular interest:
- Tropical disease research that uses multi-omics data
- Tropical disease drug discovery research leveraging multi-omics data
- Tropical disease research that uses multi-omics analytical approaches
- Tropical disease research that uses multi-omics data to predict biomarkers
- Review on implementation of multi-omics data and techniques on specific tropical diseases
Keywords: Multi-omics, tropical disease, data integration, aetiology, biological molecules
