About this Research Topic
This Research Topic aims to address the latest outstanding and cutting-edge progress in growth of LDMs, and their widespread applications in energy storage, conversion, sensing technology and electronics. Although great progresses have been made to fabricate high-quality LDMs, preparation of LDMs to meet their application needs in different fields has always been challenging. We warmly welcome Original Research articles on the preparation and post-processing technology of various LDMs, which can be used for energy storage, conversion, gas-sensing and electronics. The application of various LDMs in the field of energy, gas sensing and electronics has attracted more and more attention of scientists, and articles reporting or reviewing the development of new LDMs suitable for energy applications, gas sensing and electronics are also highly encouraged by this issue.
The scope of the Research Topic includes, but not limited to
i) Fabrication and characterization of low-dimensional materials;
ii) The modification of structure and properties of various low-dimensional materials to improve their applications in energy, gas-sensing and electronics;
iii) Electrochemical catalytic activity of low-dimensional nanomaterials;
iv) Modelling and simulation of low-dimensional nanomaterials and their applications;
v) Design of low-dimensional materials for applications in energy storage, conversion, gas-sensing and electronics.
Keywords: Two-dimensional materials, Synthesis, Electrochemical catalysis, Gas-sensor, Electronics
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements.
