About this Research Topic
Functional materials are an integral part of almost all devices. To meet the future technological needs, novel functional materials are focusing on the Polymers and Composite Materials with suitable combination of physical properties, which are required to increase the overall performance and efficiency of the devices. Therefore, designing the high-performance Polymers and Composite materials is one important possibility to meet requirements of future needs. In this issue we will cover thematic research areas of recent advances in Polymers and Composite Materials to highlight the ongoing cutting edge research and address the challenges faced by researchers and engineers in designing materials and integrating into devices, respectively. This will provide a platform to researchers from academia and R & D institutions to share their ideas in order to address the future trends in the light of recent advances in functional materials research with a focus on Polymers and Composite Materials.

Pakistan is investing in renewable energy sources such as solar energy and wind turbine.
