About this Research Topic
There are many challenges that require further research and development on policy, architecture, modelling, planning, operation, optimization, and control for sustainable EESs.
This Research Topic aims to address and disseminate state-of-the-art research and opportunities regarding applications of digital technologies to achieve low carbon and sustainable energy developments. We seek original papers with novel research contributions in all aspects of tools, models, and methods of relevance and impact of EESs. Original research and review articles are encouraged to submit to this Research Topic.
The main topics of interest include but are not limited to:
- Digital technologies empowered by the energy market and policy for EESs
- Digital-based reference architecture for EESs
- Digital technologies empowered by energy management methods for EESs
- Digital technologies empowered by smart planning, operation, and control for EESs
- Spatiotemporal data analytics for EESs
- Digital technologies empowered by topology construction for EESs
- Digital technologies supported by stability analysis for EESs
