About this Research Topic
This research topic aims to collect studies introducing advance and innovation in a broader view of oncoplastic breast surgery including but not limited to the surgical skills and techniques in breast conservation surgery, such as partial or total breast reconstruction. Furthermore, bench-work studies and well-designed clinical studies are also essential to unravel the mechanisms of good outcomes and potentially change the clinical practice. We welcome submissions covering but not limited to the following:
1) Novel techniques in breast conservation surgery, including partial or total breast reconstruction
2) Advances in super-microsurgery for prevention or treatment of upper limb lymphedema after axillary dissection
3) Clinical research in the field of breast conservation surgery, including partial or total breast reconstruction, lymphedema treatment, etc.
4) Experimental research related to breast reconstruction or treatment of lymphedema
Please note:
• Manuscripts concerning the innovation of techniques must be described in detail and accompanying photographs and/or videos are suggested for better illustration.
• Manuscripts consisting solely of bioinformatics or computational analysis of public databases without validation of independent cohort are out of the scope for this section and will not be accepted as part of this research topic.
