About this Research Topic
Reviews in Non-Coding RNA will publish high-quality scholarly review papers on key topics in the field of Non-Coding RNA. It aims to highlight recent advances in the field, whilst emphasizing important directions and new possibilities for future inquiries. We anticipate the research presented will promote discussion in the RNA community that will translate to best practice applications in clinical, public health and policy settings.
The Reviews in Non-Coding RNA collection welcomes full-length, mini or systematic review papers. New articles will be added to this collection as they are published.
Review manuscripts are welcome on, but not limited to, the following:
· Identification and functional characterization of microRNA, lncRNAs, and other non-coding regulatory RNAs in plant and animal systems
· Methods for the functional characterization of non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) (miRNA, lncRNA, etc.)
· miRNAs and lncRNAs in disease biology: biomarkers and targets
· ncRNAs and cancer progression
· Computational tools for ncRNA identification and functional analysis of miRNAs and ncRNA databases
Keywords: RNA, Non-coding RNA, Reviews, Genetics
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
