Enhanced by these technological advances, researchers can access detailed data spanning extensive land areas, which is invaluable for effective forest fire management. Remote sensing methods support various applications, such as fire prediction, real-time monitoring, and post-event assessments—facilitating a proactive approach in managing fire-prone landscapes and potentially reducing wildfire incidences.
