About this Research Topic
The objective of this Research Topic is to publish original articles and reviews that address, as a central element, aspects related to the main theme of "Cognition and brain activity in Latin America". Methodological approaches should include quantitative methods. The focus group includes all stages of life, people from different backgrounds, and people with and without diagnoses. It is therefore intended to bring together a wide range of studies with different theoretical and methodological approaches considering different populations. We cordially invite you to submit manuscripts that make a conceptual, methodological, empirical or related contribution to this Research Theme.
We encourage you to submit papers on the following topics:
-studies addressing the relationship between cognition and brain activity in children;
-studies addressing the relationship between cognition and brain activity in the adult population;
-studies addressing the relationship between cognition and brain activity in the population with pathologies;
-studies that address the relationship between cognition and brain activity in the population without pathologies;
-other topics related to cognition and brain activity;
-papers dealing with literature reviews on the study of cognition and brain activity in Latin American countries.
