About this Research Topic
The goal of this research topic is to invite articles that demonstrate innovative and rigorous applications of flow cytometry in either clinical diagnostics or, disease pathogenesis (experimental medicine). The editors hope to highlight diverse and novel utilization of flow cytometry across the health sciences and more importantly, they wish to highlight the correct way to carry out flow cytometry experiments. This research topic will emphasize the correct experimental methodology and reporting of flow cytometric data in all submissions.
Authors are encouraged to submit original research, reviews and mini reviews. The thematic areas will include, but are not limited to- Prime flow RNA assay, cytokine detection, phospho-flow, cell health, stress and cytotoxicity assays, cell division and proliferation assay, intracellular calcium flux assay, small particle flow cytometry, multicolor immunophenotyping, transfection efficiency and membrane potential assays. Please note, any paper submitted to this research topic must have a very detailed study protocol described in the methods. Maximum possible adherence to MiFlowCyt guidelines is recommended.
We look forward to receiving your work.
