About this Research Topic
The goal of the proposed Research Topic is to highlight studies investigating the interaction between emotional affective disorders and Alzheimer's disease across the lifespan.
Researchers are invited to submit manuscripts addressing the underlying pathology associated with perturbations in fear memory, motivation, anxiety, and executive function in rodent models of Alzheimer's disease. Human studies are also of interest, especially, those dealing with higher-level aspects of brain functions in emotional states. In this Research Topic, we welcome Original Research articles, Reviews, and Mini Reviews.
