About this Research Topic
This collection encourages contributions from scientists who are engaged in business/commercial projects to provide their insights and forecasts on industry research in the field of cardiovascular imaging. Authors are encouraged to identify the challenges that need to be overcome before devices, techniques, and products related to cardiovascular imaging become economically viable.
This Research Topic aims to collect contributions involving all invasive imaging modalities such as IVUS, OCT, NIRS-IVUS, and emerging hybrid intravascular imaging techniques as well as non-invasive imaging modalities, such as echocardiography, cardiac CT, MRI, PET and SPECT are welcome. We are interested in original research, meta-analysis, state-of-the-art review and clinical case review article types.
Keywords: artificial intelligence, cardiovascular disease, heart, echocardiography, cardiac CT, MRI, PET, SPECT, cardiology, radiology, algorithms, analysis, prognosis, therapy, applications, development, technical, economics, industry, quantitative imaging
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
