About this Research Topic
Innovations on the early, non-invasive diagnosis and more efficient treatments are desperately needed to further improve outcomes. It is imperative that when new techniques are introduced into clinical practice, they are done so in a manner that is transparent to ensure. Furthermore, the technique should be described in detail alongside patient selection (and evolution with time), governance arrangements, clinical- and patient-reported outcomes to ensure incremental learning occurs so promising innovations are adopted rapidly.
This Research Topic aims to generate a discussion of which technological innovations can significantly enhance the management of pancreatic cancer to improve survival and quality of life for patients with pancreatic cancer. We welcome Original Research, Reviews, Systematic Reviews and Mini-Reviews.
Please note: manuscripts consisting solely of bioinformatics or computational analysis of public genomic or transcriptomic databases which are not accompanied by validation (independent cohort or biological validation in vitro or in vivo) are out of scope for this section and will not be accepted as part of this Research Topic.
