About this Research Topic
In this Research Topic, we aim to solicit a range of original research articles, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses to advance our understanding of how intelligent technologies are applied in different forms of commutation, such as inter-person communication, group, and community communication, what are possible impacts, a potential new methodology to adopt and analyze such phenomenon and impacts, on both individual and societal levels. In particular, we are interested in interdisciplinary research that draws from various academic fields such as psychology, communication, data sciences, computer sciences, engineering, and arts.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
Traumatic situations, media, and destabilization of psychological well-being in the post-covid era
Application and impacts of artificial intelligence in health communication
Intelligent technology use and psychological well-being
Intelligent technology use and cognitive appraisals
Psychological and social effects virtual idol, chatbot & virtual company, digital personal assistant
Intelligent technologies (e.g., intelligent information retrieving, analysis, presentation and recommendation, AI diagnosis) and the impact on psychological well-being
New methodologies (e.g., Causal inference) and mixed analysis of the above-mentioned topics
