About this Research Topic
Previous research on corporate entrepreneurship has marginally highlighted the psychological aspects of enterprising by corporate entrepreneurs. Despite the long history of exploring the psychological characteristics of entrepreneurs, the need for exploring such issues has increased, as some scholars have recently investigated topics such as depression among entrepreneurs using scoping reviews. More precisely, corporate entrepreneurs have less been explored in the extant literature. The lack of enough studies in this field has created a significant gap in the literature, which has been widened due to a lack of applying interdisciplinary theories. For instance, the suicide risk is marginally investigated among corporate entrepreneurs. This Research Topic invites authors to submit their original research articles, systematic reviews, methods, perspectives, case reports, conceptual analyses, and empirical studies.
This Research Topic is focused on various aspects of corporate entrepreneurs’ psychological, emotional, and mental health. Thus, the followings are among the most important goals of this Research Topic:
• To conceptualize the concepts of psychological, emotional, and mental health and challenges they may face in corporate entrepreneurship research.
• To theorize the creation and treatment of psychological, emotional, and mental health problems of corporate entrepreneurs.
• To explore the major, causal, and intervening conditions of psychological, emotional, and mental health for organizational entrepreneurs.
• To examine the impact of various critical elements, such as organizational culture, strategies, structure, and the like, on creating psychological, emotional, and mental health problems for organizational entrepreneurs.
• To use various interdisciplinary theories (entrepreneurship, psychological, and organizational theories), and research designs to investigate various aspects of this phenomenon.
