About this Research Topic
There is an urgent need to identify an optimal nutritional assessment system for patients with dysphagia and to develop optimal nutritional interventions to improve prognosis and maximize the effectiveness of swallowing rehabilitation.
This Research Topic welcomes Brief Research Reports, Case Reports, Clinical Trials, Original Research, and Systematic Reviews, exploring but not limited to the following themes:
• Appropriate nutritional assessment and intervention methods in various causes of dysphagia
• The impact of malnutrition on outcomes in patients with dysphagia of various causes
• Relationships between swallowing-related muscles and malnutrition
• Findings on the association between sarcopenic dysphagia and malnutrition
