About this Research Topic
This research topic will focus on new research in the areas of metabolic damage mechanisms, and intervention strategies. Both basic research and clinical transitional studies will be welcomed. The primary objective is to comprehensively summarize the current perspectives and propose future research directions regarding genetics, diagnosis, staging, classification, mechanisms, new models, new methodologies, etiology or risk factors, prevention, and treatment of MeCs including diabetic cardiomyopathy, myocardial ischemia reperfusion, and hypertension cardiomyopathy, etc.
We encourage researchers to submit Original Research, Reviews, Case Studies, Opinions and Perspectives including, but not limited, to any one or more of the following themes. The following topics illustrate the target subject areas and scope of the project.
1. Molecular Mechanism and/or Pharmacology of Diabetic cardiomyopathy.
2. Molecular Mechanism and/or Pharmacology of myocardial ischemia reperfusion.
3. Molecular Mechanism and/or Pharmacology of hypertension cardiomyopathy.
Keywords: Diabetic cardiomyopathy, myocardial ischemia reperfusion, hypertension, molecular mechanism, pharmacology
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
