About this Research Topic
As such, Frontiers has launched a series of Research Topics across a number of scientific fields. Led by Professor Kay Nieselt and Dr. Helena Jambor, this initiative solicits innovative contributions from prominent researchers in the field, including recent developments, new insights, current challenges and solutions in the growing field of bioinformatics data visualization.
This timely Research Topic will highlight the present situation of data visualization and set in motion the development of appropriate approaches, inspiring the next generation of researchers in bioinformatics data visualization. This research topic is similar in scope to the Expert Opinions in bioinformatics data visualization: 2022, however it differs in that it is an open call for submissions
Preferred article types: Brief Research Report, Mini Review, Opinion, Perspective.
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
Keywords: Bioinformatics, data visualization, insights, visual analytics, CS
