About this Research Topic
To this special issue of Frontiers in Oncology, we would like to invite international specialists in the above-mentioned fields to address this issue in separate corresponding articles. Our aim is to provide an overview of the current and expected problems, and suggest solutions for institutions and collaborative groups to optimize the management of and research in head and neck cancer.
The scope of the special issue is to address each of the following topics in corresponding articles:
- Electronic Health Record Management, workflow optimization
- Head and Neck & Maxillofacial Surgery
- Radiation Oncology
- Medical Oncology
- Pathology
- Integration of supportive care units (e.g. social and psychological support, speech and swallowing therapy, nutritional support)
Please note: manuscripts consisting solely of bioinformatics or computational analysis of public genomic or transcriptomic databases which are not accompanied by validation with an independent cohort of new cases will not be accepted in any of the sections of Frontiers in Oncology.
