The current generation of adolescents differs from previous generations, because the development of new technologies and their use in ever-younger children is an unprecedented formational influence, especially before and after Covid-19 pandemic. Current trends in international research suggest that a participatory approach is important part of research in health and health-related behavior. Quantitative as well as qualitative approach seems to be the most important source of information about health and health-related behavior of the current adolescent´s generation.
This Research Topic aims to highlight Health of Adolescents from Quantitative and Qualitative Perspective of Research. Adolescence is a period of extensive psychological changes, such as the need to explore, growing independence and the need for peer acceptance and family support. The benefits of an active childhood can carry over into adulthood. Establishment of healthy patterns during childhood and adolescence is important, because of fulfilment of developmental tasks associated with adolescence and possible long-term consequences.
Therefore, we invite original articles and systematic reviews relevant to the topic of Health of Adolescents: Quantitative and Qualitative perspective.
