About this Research Topic
This issue of research topic is devoted to any aspect on theories, algorithms, and applications about human behavior and dynamics in social systems. It aims to exploit how humans learn, predict, decide and interact, how their behavior patterns emerge and change, and how social systems evolve taking into consideration of complex human behaviors. Potential works are expected to be outed either in a microscopic point of view, e.g., through analyzing individuals' incentives, objectives, intelligence and behaviors, or in a macroscopic way, e.g., by capturing the underlying patterns, collective performance, linking networks or evolution dynamics of social systems that are composed of individuals. Studies are encouraged to explore, but not limited to, the following research questions:
• How and why do behaviors vary among individuals, groups, and cultures?
• How do humans make decisions, and how are social norms formed?
• How are human behaviors and dynamics shaped by social and economic factors?
• How are they affected by outbreaks of infectious disease or global pandemics?
Keywords: Human Behavior, Game Theory, Epidemic Spreading, Socio-economic Systems, Computational Social Science
