About this Research Topic
New diagnosis and prevention tools for Diabetic Nephropathy are fundamental, as the symptoms tend to become apparent once the condition has reached later stages. Currently, there is no cure for this syndrome, as therapies and medications focus on slowing down the progression of kidney damage.
In this Research Topic, we aim to gather manuscripts that contribute to the new findings on diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of Diabetic Nephropathy. We welcome submissions focusing on Diabetic Nephropathy that cover, but not limited to, the newly discovered genetic findings, and innovative methods to investigate preclinical, diagnostic, and clinical or treatment studies to assess Diabetic Kidney Disease.
