About this Research Topic
The proposed Research Topic will bring together a collection of articles that focus on tourism entrepreneurs through psychological frameworks. The Research Topic will advance the body of knowledge on the entrepreneurial mindset and behaviors of tourism entrepreneurs. Papers can address broad issues around tourism entrepreneurs and psychology including:
- Resilience, grit and coping mechanisms
- Motivation and drive
- Mental health and wellbeing
- Entrepreneurial self-efficacy and locus of control
- Cognitive factors in tourism entrepreneurship
- Attitudes toward risk and uncertainty
- Place identity and place attachment
- Social identity and social capital
- Creativity and innovativeness
We prioritize cutting-edge empirical (qualitative and quantitative) research articles, but welcome Review and Mini-Review articles, Brief Research Reports, Case Studies and Conceptual Analysis.
